TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is solid.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That would be a good addition when it arrives.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine those fill times with the Edge account pricing and what you get holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.

Safety

This is the thing that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It does inform how you think about it.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you deposit.
