Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
